Wimbledon’s Head Coach, Dan Bloxham, drooped in to see us at the Appeti Tennis Centre in Canterbury this week and put 60 local youngsters through a coaching session.
It was part of the 75 Kids for 75 Years campaign organised by drinks company Robinsons to mark their three quarters of a century connection with tennis’s most famous competition.
The aim was to select 75 promising kids from all over the country for two days training at the All England Club alongside Tim Henman.
Dan has been coaching for 27 years and has been head coach at Wimbledon for nine years. Dan thought the centre was a friendly place with a great set up.
